Meet Your Temple's LCC
I have always loved costuming and cosplaying at cons but I found my real passion in 2018 when I joined the Rebel Legion and started trooping. I later joined Saber Guild and the Mandalorian Mercs.
When I joined and discovered the community of these clubs I really felt like I found my home and my family. It is a great pleasure to be able to help others join and welcome them into this wonderful community. |
Getting Started
There are three main categories of costume standards.
1. Jedi / Light Side

Dark side wielders / ”bad guys” - Any face character falling under this category will be judged using the 501st Legion standards.

Where to get your costume
You can either make or buy a costume. If your going to buy your costume keep in mind that “movie quality” comes with a price. Not only is it important to get quality for the looks but also for the durability. Low quality would not stand up to preforming or trooping for more than once or twice.

Some things to keep in mind when looking to buy:
- You get what you pay for. (see above)
- Etsy is your friend – Custom venders on Etsy are your best bet. (be aware when ordering that you are ordering approvable fabrics and colors. Allot of the sellers on Etsy offer allot of options be sure you are picking within the standards.)
- AVOID the word Cosplay. If the website has cosplay in its name and is cheaper than etsy it won't be of quality.
- Galaxy's Edge – Disney's Galaxy's Edge sells some quality costuming pieces that are approvable. However keep in mind that they have broad sizing and you may have to tailor them to fit you better.
- When in doubt as the LCC
